Roadmap

Development phase (current)

We just released the service on our public domain. Now it's ready to be tested, to find any bugs and allow us to fix any issues that may arise. In this phase, the service is unstable and can cause unpredictable problems, including but not limited to data loss, accidental incorrect overwriting of data on your Discord server, and more.

I will do my very best to iron out any bugs that may arise and solve any problems to my best extent, but I cannot guarantee anything. Please make sure to report any issue you encounter, so I can work on resolving it!

This phase is also used to make sure all essential and desired features are added. I will periodically update the site to a new release after changing things.

During this phase, the website will be hosted on a cheap VPS, which means there is not much computing power and disk space available for our services. As our service grows in popularity and the need for an upgrade arises, I might temporarily stop the ability to register new accounts to prevent disk space and computing power issues.

Alpha phase

In this phase, the site has been tested for a while, and no critical bugs have occured for a while. The service is carefully considered slightly stable, but without any guarantee yet.

While in this phase, I aim to get verification of services necessary of core functionality for our site, such as the Discord bot (which requires at least 75 server installs to get verification). I will also focus on getting the site legally viable to run, and work to get an official business running to be able to serve a fresh and detailed Terms of Service.

After this is done, I will work out a pricing structure for the site, allowing our service to start making money to cover for costs of service (such as the servers, time and effort maintaining the service, other paid third parties etc).

The moment I start earning money with this is the moment I will seriously consider upgrading the server to ensure long-term viability of the service and make space for growth of the userbase. While doing so, I will do my best to migrate the data to the new server as precise and safe as possible.

Beta phase

When the site has entered this phase, all core features have been implemented and tested for a while, and the service is expected to be stable enough for active usage by a large amount of users. During this phase, I will gradually improve the quality of the service by upgrading server capacity, improving existing features, improving site speed, etc as the userbase gets expanded.

When enough profit is made, I will start thinking of hiring people (moderators, developers, marketers, etc) to help maintain the service and make sure it keeps running as good and reliable as possible.

Full release

This phase means the service is fully live, and expected to work reliably.
